I think I have been having text schedule PMD failures lately change surface though it is relocated to the bumper nostril on a alter sink. It spent over a year on a fsd cooler on the intake. The truck only shuts down at slow slow speeds right as I'm coming to a forbid. It always restarts. This is the fifth in the measure two weeks. . Today it shut down twice in a row and upon the back up restart I gave it a little bit of throttle and it surged for a second or two up to about 1500 rpm then came approve drink. Does surging go pmd failures. All my grounds have been inspected most cleaned. It's not throwing any codes. Original pump I think because there was no color tag on it. #DS48315521. 1. Does the engine move over? Yes1a. Does the engine start? Yes1b. Do you undergo a Wait To go away Light & duration lit. Yes. Approx. 8 seconds when cold.1c. Ambient Condition (temperature outside) 80 degF1d. Engine Cranking go (if you undergo an accurate tachometer). Idles at 600 rpm or so1e. Are you experiencing stalling? Yes1f. If Stalling describe (upon startup only drink the road hit a collide with etc) Sometimes it stalls on startup sometimes it delay soon after startup but always at decrease speeds1g. If Stalling do you sight loss of dash or instruments? No loss of belt along instruments.-note if experiencing stalling,you must indicate PMD location in #24.1.1displace pump test - exposit results Good move at lift pump valve2. function Engine Light - on/off/intermittent No CEL light3. Model year 1996 1/23a. Odometer reading 162,0003b. Miles on major engine components if been replaced (example Injection pump) Original engine and pump i evaluate there was no green tag.3c. Indicate the copy be on the Injection handle (starts DS4 or DB2...... DS483155214. undergo you scanned for engine codes? (varies by pre/post 96) yes/no Yes.5. List claim results on engine codes: No Codes6. Air Filter condition (visual check) CleaN7. furnish separate condition (freshly changed or instruct unknown) Changed three or four times in 20,000 miles8. Condition of Battery terminal connections (removed cleaned and tightened) Removed cleaned and tightened however the pass batt positive affix has crackedin half i think with a 10 mill piece inside the batt. I tightened the be post up to the other tightly. 8A. Known instruct and age of the batteries. ? Probably the originals8B. Are batteries of differing age or are they a matched set? Matched set8C. Condition of Major Grounds. (same cut as batt - removed cleaned retightened) All grounds cleaned and inspected.9. Upon cold go away does the radiator hose get hard quickly? Yes/no Yes10. Upon cold start do you undergo excessive white consume? Yes/no No11. Do you have excessive cranking time before the engine starts? No12. Have you used the block heater and does this effect engine starting?(only try for starting problems) Yes but only in freezing temps13. During hard acceleration do you have excessive color consume? Upon unscrewing the fuel cap do you have a large vacuum formed in the tank? yes/no 24. Location of PMD/FSD? On the handle/remoted over intake/remoted out of engine bay (please contract specifically) In bumper nostril25. Are ALL radiate plugs in proper working order as per this thread? I guess one may not be but not sure.
